You more than likely pay between $40-100, right? Do you feel like its worth it? Do you have coverage everywhere you go?
there isn't any game on the PS3 yet that I would WANT to pay for to play. We'll see if things change when Uncharted 2's beta starts back up because I missed the first one.
First off, I don't need anyone or anything telling me I need or don't need Live. If you can't afford it...that sucks for you. And someone brought up a comment in the other article about the expenses for cellular service, to that I say cell phone users are suckers. See what I did there?
a headset in there "My good chaps..."?
better...no its not overpriced.
would be my "F&*ck you" comment. But I'll explain my reasons for paying for it. First, I don't have time to be a pc gamer because I have a job and girlfriend to maintain, second, I prefer the games on the 360 opposed to other online services. Last, is the fact that nothing on this planet is actually free. I have no problem paying $5/ month to enjoy something that makes me happier than the other options. I mean there are stupid animals that buy a $500 graphics card or at launch, ...
crazy and awesome moves people do, while console gaming is like the NBA, you'll get an "ooooh" here and an "ahhhh" there, but its mostly straight forward and just so happens to be where the $$$$$$$ is...
there hasn't been anything worth getting on the PS3 as far as what this is saying? Interesting...interesting indeed....They are a picky bunch over there...
because sources are great.
HHG ruining gaming...pfft.
and thats news to me, because I didn't know it used the Unreal Engine either.
such absurdity amongst Unreal Engine conversations. It cost, I'm sure, a sh*t load of money to build your own engine, so Unreal lifts the weight off of dev's shoulders, and next would be, a lot of devs that use the engine...suck.
equate to "...ms and studios running out of ideas to push the 360...". The only reason the 360 was looked at as a benchmark for console graphics was Gears. The thing is though, Gears gameplay was as good as its graphics. There are games out there that are jaw-dropping, but the game play was pain inducing...for some it was Gears 2(not me though, Gears 2 is amazing).
don't know or forgot to mention that chimps can be trained and taught and would be able to reach the level of an 8 year old in HUMAN intelligence. The article is rather moot...
in either of those games...none, especially the things you've listed. You could probably tell that stuff to someone who hasn't played the game, but not me. Next time you try to present an argument, just assume the person isn't dumb and HAS played the game.
that I use the word shooter quite often in my comments or can you not read?
those other shooters you named? Theatre in Halo, what other shooter on consoles have it? Forge, what other shooter on consoles have it? Whats the innovations of the other shooters on consoles and what did Halo steal from them?
other platform's shooters don't get Double XP, they don't get to play with celebrities, hell, the devs have blatanly abandoned the games by not updating it with dlc (maps & achievements or trophies whatever you want to call them). Other shooters are just stiff and somewhat pretty and just bore me to tears. They're scared to learn from the king of console FPSs because they would have to pay homage and kiss the ring.
...
about how money is spent and the reasons for it. It seems to have flew over your head or you really didn't think or analyze my reasoning behind it. I knew you were on my ignore list for a reason, seeing as though you wanted me to elaborate, but yet you found validation without me elaborating. Thanks for wasting both of our time...
